About Molly

I have no formal training, yet I love the creative process and am passionate about my work. I love creating fun, whimsical, colorful and entertaining pieces of art, whether it’s through an Acrylic Painting, Wire Art, Mixed Media, a Molly Dolly or jewelry.

I started drawing years ago when I owned an antique shop in Warsaw, Missouri. I decorated the store’s bags with whimsical drawings of my pet rooster, Romeo. My late father, himself a talented artist, encouraged me to expand my creativity and add to my repetoire with new and exciting artwork. I began painting abstract cubism, light-hearted still life and folk art. I was already making wire art mobiles and sun catchers from vintage hardware I had collected over the years.

Every piece is a one-of-a-kind and that’s the same for my Molly Dollys. I create each Molly Dolly from vintage fabrics and buttons I’ve collected — every one is unique and seems to have his or her own personality.

In 2011, I decided to return to my roots in Excelsior Springs, Missouri, and open my own store. I am now branching out with an online store where my Acrylic Paintings, Wire Flowers, Mixed Media, Molly Dollys and Hand-Hammered Copper Wire Bookmarks can be purchased.

Customers may also visit my site on Fine Art America and purchase Canvas Prints, Framed Prints, Art Prints, Acrylic Prints, Metal Prints, Greeting Cards and iPhone Cases from any of my art galleries there.

I hope my art will make you smile.
